Joshua Willis is a 2013 LHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Millard South HS. Strong athletic build, thick muscular lower half. Raw pitching mechanics but has very good raw tools and a chance to develop. Strong leg drive, inconsistent lower half mechanics, loose arm action, arm projects. 1-7 curveball with big depth and good shape. Long aggressive swing, good raw bat speed, flashed pullside power, needs to improve contact skills. Has some work to do mechanically both with the bat and on the mound but very good raw tools to project, interesting prospect to follow.
