Douglass Hubbard is a 2013 RHP/3B with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Mt Brook High School. Large frame with a strong build. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot, short arm action, has arm speed, works quick, throws strikes, good demeanor on the mound, sound mechanics, lands in good fielding position. Fastball has arm side run, curveball has 11-5 break to it, curveball is a good pitch, change up has arm side run on it. Has a long arm action across the infield, has arm strength, throws have online carry, accurate. Has an upright stance at the plate, stays inside the ball well, good extension, gap to gap hitter with pop. Is an interesting prospect to follow on the mound.
