Connor Bennett is a 2015 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford HS. Smaller, young build with some present strength. Good runner, very athletic with consistent fielding actions and good arm strength. Very accurate across the diamond and will continue to improve defensively with added strength. Upright, slightly open at the plate, very good bat speed and extension, short to the ball, some present strength in his hands, tools to develop further at the plate. Also pitched, long arm action, high 3/4 release, fastball topped at 84 mph. Curveball with 11-5 break flashed some sharpness, potential to keep improving on the mound.

Connor Bennett is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. Fluid defensive actions, moves through the ball well, good footwork, quick exchange and release, reads hops well, has some arm strength, will have to work on quickness/speed to stay in middle infield, might be interesting to see catch. Right handed hitter, big leg raise trigger, swings hard, some bat speed, showed the ability to lift/pull the ball, good loose extension out front, has some hitting tools. Also pitched, long loose arm action, cross body delivery, extended 3/4's to mid 3/4's release, even lower at times. Steady 80-81 fastball, have seen up to 84 mph this summer, mostly straight, big sweeping curveball, rare change up. Solid all around player who knows how to play and plays hard. Good student.
