Mitchell Benson is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Roswell HS. Benson has a medium sized frame with a thin lean build. Defensively he has solid footwork to the baseball with solid actions. Benson has good hands with solid transfers. He has a loose arm action with developing arm strength. At the plate, Benson starts with an open stance and looks for the ball on the inner half of the plate. He has a short swing path to the ball with developing bat speed. He made consistent contact to the opposite field with line drive pop. Very good student.
