Hunter Tackett is a 2014 OF/SS/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Heiskell, TN who attends Anderson County HS. Large lean frame with a strong athletic build. Starts out with a narrow upright stance, good compact swing, aggressive approach, keeps his hands close to his body, is a gap to gap hitter with pop. Has good bat speed, with a good swing, makes god contact, drives the ball the other way well. Has good arm strength in the outfield, smooth athletic actions, has carry on his throws, arm works, works through the ball, stays online. Pitches from a 3/4 arm slot, short arm action, has sink to his fastball, curveball has 11-5 break to it. Is an interesting prospect to follow and is a good student.

Hunter Tackett is a 2014 OF/IF/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Heiskell, TN who attends Anderson County HS. Tall and lean build, very projectable athletically. Right handed hitter, straight stance, lots of present bat speed, lift in his swing, aggressive hitter, ball jumps hard on contact, still developing as a hitter but big tools. Right field tools defensively, very good arm strength, quick release, on line accurate throws, moves to the ball well. Also pitched, tall delivery, mid 3/4's release from simple leg raise start, mid 80's fastball to 86 mph, good spin on curveball. Talented athlete still growing into his tools, could really come on over the next few years. Good student.

Hunter Tackett is a 2014 OF/IF/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Heiskell, TN who attends Anderson County HS. Large framed athletic build, projects very well. No stride approach, limited weight shift, loose extended swing, long levers but stays short to the ball, line drive swing plane, shows bat speed and gap to gap power, repeats swing mechanics well, has nice hitting tools, would like to see more rhythm/shift to start swing. 6.98 runner, loose projectable arm with developing strength, sound outfield actions. Also pitched, fast paced cross body delivery, cross body release, inconsistent release point and mechanics. Fastball to 85 mph, raw arm strength, big looping curveball. Plus athlete with a bright future. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
