Alex Jackson is a 2014 C/3B/OF with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Escondido, CA who attends Rancho Bernardo HS. Extra strong well proportioned build, special combination of quick twitch and raw strength. Right handed hitter, excellent bat speed, huge power to all fields, especially the middle of the field, easy swing mechanics, drives the ball with limited effort, showed advanced game ability to hit the ball the other way. Outstanding arm strength, short compact exchange and release, very clean mechanics, most drill pops in the 1.7's, willing blocker with quick feet, throws tend to tail. Can also play third base at a high level. Has all the tools and most of the skills.

Nice right handed swing, good extension, some present bat speed, has power potential to develop. Very good raw arm strength, loose arm, low slinging release point will be an issue, has to jump to side to clear path to throw ball with present release, young overall receiving skills, showed big potential.
