German Reyes is a 2014 OF/SS with a 5-7 126 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Coral Gables HS. Reyes is a slender and athletic young player with a very projectable build. Good loose actions in the outfield, aggressive defender that is eager to have the ball hit to him. Has a good arm action on throws and velocity will increase with continued strength development. Switch hitter with a short, quick swing from both sides of the plate. Very good at using his hands and squares the ball up from both sides. Took a good round of BP and showed good hitting tools to work with.
