Handsome Monica is a 2014 C/RHP/3B with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Mandeville, LA who attends St. Paul's HS. Large projectable frame with a strong build. Starts out with an open stance wide base at the plate, has an aggressive power approach, with gap power. Has good bat speed with pop in his bat, quick hands, ball jumps off the bat, squares up the ball at the plate, squared up a 90mph fastball for a stand up triple in a game. Behind the plate he has quick feet with a strong arm, quick arm, has a quick release with accurate throws, good actions. Is an excellent student and is an interesting prospect to follow.

Open to closed hitting approach, stays inside the ball, low tight hands, quick to the ball, drives it hard to mid/opposite field, likes the ball low in the zone, ball comes off the barrel hard. Soft hands catching, shifts well, good footwork, plenty of present arm strength, long transfer keeps pop times high for now. Solid all around athlete with the strength and tools to hit. Good student.
