Taylor Korosec is a 2013 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Winter Springs HS. Medium build with some lower half strength. Cross body delivery, 3/4's arm slot, some effort on release, loose arm action. Steady 79-81 mph fastball, have seen up to 84 mph this summer, good cutting action at times, tight spinning slider with some sharpness is solid second pitch, some feel for firm change up. Three usable pitches, good command and idea how to pitch, can improve consistency with better lower half direction. Right handed hitter, strong swing, keeps hands in tight, has some bat speed, solid mid field contact, would improve with better extension/separation. Smooth defensive actions at first base. Good student.
