Anthony Waldner is a 2012 MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Suffolk, VA who attends Nansemond Suffolk Academy. Lean athletic build, lots of room to fill out and add strength. Aggressive hitting approach, good pop to the opposite field, gets extension out front, hitting tools project more with slight adjustments in approach and added strength. Solid defensively, quick arm, good release, online throws, ball comes out of the hand well. 3/4 arm slot on the mound, arm works well, clean arm action, around the plate, solid student.
