Black is a slender and young looking 6-0 outfielder from Florida. He ran the 60 in 7.17, a solid time on a slow track, and threw 76 mph from the outfield. He probably has more natural arm strength than he’s showing due to raw throwing and fielding mechanics. At the plate, Black has a big hand hitch that creates an upper cut swing at the ball. Overall he will improve with better fundamentals both offensively and defensively. He has a chance to become a high quality college outfielder.
