Bourn is a 5-10 165 lb switch hitting senior outfielder from San Antonio, Texas. He has a lean build and loose, athletic actions. Bourn ran the 60 in 7.32. He showed very nice arm strength in the outfield at 84 mph with a long, loose arm stroke. Bourn also played some third base at the showcase put looked better and more comfortable in the outfield. Bourn has a similar approach from both sides of the plate. He has a bit better bat speed from the right side but has a smoother swing and better balance from the left side. He shows hand strength from both sides and had some very good at bats during the showcase games that demonstrated his overall hitting ability. Bourn also pitched some and his arm strength carried over to the mound well. He threw 81-83 mph from a high 3/4's release point and maintained very good downward plane to the plate. He occasionally dropped down sidearm with no loss of velocity and good running action. Overall, Bourn is a well rounded talent who looks like he knows how to play the game and can perform during games. He's a very good student, too.

Bourn is a 2006 outfielder/infielder from San Antonio, Tx with a live athletic build that shows good flexibility at 5'11", 165 pounds. Defensively, he showed good actions with range and a playable arm with good accuracy. He made many tough catches, and he has very good instincts that let him get a good jump on the ball. He is a good all around athlete, and he uses his speed on the bases and in the field. He is a switch hitter with more power from the right side, and a more contact style approach from the left. He hits from an upright narrow stance with a long load but, he gets his hands into a good position at contact. He showed gap power from a slightly lofted swing and he hits the ball hard every time. He is an athlete with good playable tools that will make him a top level college prospect. Nick is a good student.
