Nathan Hogenmiller -- Hogenmiller is a strong bodied 6-0 right hander from Nebraska. He threw a 80-81 mph fastball in Fort Myers with occasional tailing action and complimented that with a mid-60’s curveball that had some good spin and late bite to it. Hogenmiller does a good job of throwing strikes with both pitches. He likely has more arm strength and velocity than he showed, as he’s got a very compact arm stroke that doesn’t give him a lot of extension. He’s a top student from a very good baseball program in Omaha. Nathan is a good pitcher with good command of everything he throws.

Strong "05" C/P with arm strength. Slow transfer causes bad pop times. He could improve a lot in that area. We would like to see him be more aggressive at the plate. Right now he's a big strong kid who puts the ball into play. He's not using his strength. He threw low 80s from the hill with a nice loose arm. Got some late life on a few. He definitely has a future as a pitcher.
