Taylor Jones is a 2012 RHP/3B with a 6-7 187 lb. frame from Kent, WA who attends Kentwood. XL frame, very tall, lean and athletic, looks the part. 3/4 arm slot, long loose arm action, arm works well, good arm speed. Mid 80s fastball (up to 86) with little effort, velocity projects. Good arm side run on 2-seamer with command. Mixed three pitch arsenal well, good pitchability, knows what he's doing on the mound. High upside pitching prospect, also showed good ability with the bat and defensively at 3B. Potential two-way player with a bright future on mound. Good student, verbal to Gonzaga.
