Nelson is an "04" LHP/OF who projects as a LHP. At 5'10/165 he has a medium build with room for much additional strength. He's a pretty good outfielder and can hit some, but his future will be on the mound. He threw 80 mph and there's much more in him. His curve ball was 67 mph and showed good potential. He has a nice loose arm action without tension. He could end up being a real good college lefty in the right program.
