Ryan Perez is a 2012 BHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Hampshire, IL who attends Westminster Christian. Medium build, some present strength, mature look. Unique ability to throw with both hands, similar deliveries both arms, big leg raise, full back turn, bit more compact arm action right handed. Stuff also very similar, mid to upper 80's fastball both sides, topped out at 89 mph, has touched 90 mph in the past. Curveball tighter right handed, harder with better spin, has a better change up left handed...or at least did this outing. Left handed curveball tended to hang. Much better raw stuff than Yankee AA dual armed pitcher Pat Venditte and has an idea how to pitch. Unique talent, has to be evaluated with an open mind.
