Christian Montgomery is a 2011 RHP with a 6-1 240 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Lawrence Central HS. Big thick frame, looks leaner and stronger than previously. Balanced drifting delivery, good leg drive, inconsistent with release points, easy 3/4's slot. 90-93 mph fastball, lots of 93's, gets good running action with + velocity. He's been up to 96-97. CB flashes hard biting action at times, big deep break when on top, around the plate with all pitches but not fine tuned yet. Did not throw change but has in the past. Power arm/power body. Draft should be interesting! Selected to the Aflac All-American team.
