Anthony (AJ) Gaura is a 2010 RHP with a 6'6'', 210 lb. frame from Suamico, WI who attends Bay Port HS. Big physical build, very good projection. Tall delivery with short stride, simple windup, very repeatable, loose whippy arm action, hides ball well, 3/4's release point, good angle to the plate. FB topped at 85 mph, good late tailing action, likes to throw FB inside. Nice assortment of off-speed pitches, big sweeping CB with depth, nice change up with occ plus sink, SL has good shape and angle. Pounds strike zone with all pitches, hitters took weak swings. Good bet to keep improving. Good student, signed with Iowa Western CC.
