Chris Nagorski is a 2008 RHP/1B with a 6'3'', 175 lb. frame from Mississauga, ON who attends Michael Powder/St Joseph SS. He has a nice pitcher's build, with long loose arms and legs and plenty of strength projection. Nagorski has a complicated delivery with a hard front side and a severe fall off on release. His arm is loose and easy from a high 3/4's release point, though, and it's a testament to his ability that he was able to throw consistent strikes with his lack of balance and direction. Nagorski's fastball was 78-81 mph and was pretty straight. His best pitch was a 74 mph change up that had good arm speed and sink with and that he had lots of confidence it. Nagorski's curveball consistency suffered from his delivery but flashed good downward spin on occasion. Nagorski had a feel for pitching and looks like he has mid 80's velocity in his arm when he straightens up his delivery and gets a bit stronger. He looked like a good overall athlete who ran well (7.24) and swung the bat with some pop.
