Harcrow is a left handed hitting middle infielder from Georgia with a projectable 5-11, 175 lb body. Harcrow is a polished hitter right now who is just going to keep getting better as he gets stronger. He has a quick bat from the left side and a very advanced ability to let the ball get deep on him and still get the bat head to the ball. Harcrow showed some pull loft power in both batting practice and in game action and will develop this part of his game even more as he matures. Harcrow is a 7.37 runner who threw 82 mph in infield drills. He has some one spot body life and a long release that might be better suited to third base in the future. Harcrow also pitched an inning in relief, touching 80 mph on his fastball and showing a loose, quick arm. Overall, this is a good young prospect who should keep developing. Keep a close eye on him. Harcrow is a very strong student, too.

Jacob Harcrow is a 2006 middle infielder/right handed pitcher from Roswell, Georgia with a medium build at 5'11", 175 pounds. He has a quiet approach to hitting with good balance and very little movement. He has quick hands and is short to the ball with a compact stroke. He has a level swing plane and he generates good bat speed. He is a contact hitter with good bat control, and he can use the whole field. Defensively, he has smooth actions and a quick release. He has a good glove and moves well to get into a good fielding position with his hands out front. He has a quick first step and reacts quickly off the bat. He also pitched from a high 3/4 slot with a 79 mph fastball, and a 68 mph curveball. He has lots of room to grow and add strength and he will be a solid infielder at the next level. Jacob is a good student.

Jacob is a 2006 grad he has a average frame and good strength. Good offensive style middle infielder with smooth actions and sure hands to play up the middle. Should be an early of the line up type hitter this year and generate a lot of runs. Chance to be a impact type player and get interest from a lot of quality college programs. Look for him to create a lot of interest.
