Hunter Jennings is a 2008 OF/P with a 6'2'', 161 lb. frame from Daphne, AL who attends Daphne HS. He has a long and slender build that hasn't started to get strong yet. Jennings best tool is his speed. He has athletic actions and good first step quickness in the outfield and on the bases. Jennings has a balanced approach at the plate with a leg lift trigger and a line drive swing plane. His lack of strength keeps him from having present bat speed but he should keep improving as his strength catches up to his solid swing fundamentals and leverage at contact. Jennings is the son of long time scout/executive Dan Jennings of the Marlins.
