Michael Nitsos is a 2008 1B/3B/C with a 6'0'', 200 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends St Michael's College School. He has a solid, mature build and good present strength. Nitsos hits from a spread stance and a quiet, balanced approach. He stays pretty closed during his swing and keeps his hands in tight. Nitsos' strength makes the ball come off his bat pretty hard and he takes a good aggressive swing at the ball. He's more of a gap to gap hitter right now until he gets more extension in his swing. Defensively, Nitsos has good hands and footwork around the bag, although he doesn't have exceptional range. He's a 7.62 runner. Nitsos is also a good student.
