Greg Simbro is a 2007 RHP/IF/OF from Shorewood, WI, with a solid build that shows good strength at 6-0, 175 lbs. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with smooth mechanics and an easy clean delivery. He works in and out well and shows good poise on the hill. His fastball is at 79 mph with armside life. His curveball has an 11-5 rotation with good depth. His change has some fade and is deceptive. He has good command of 3 pitches and he knows how to pitch. He has a strong swing with raw bat speed. He makes solid contact and he hits line drives to all fields. Defensively, he has a strong arm and good hands. He is a solid player with good tools and a possible 2-way prospect. He is a good follow for 2007. Greg is a very good student.
