Kevin Garcia is a 2010 3B/C with a 5'10'', 178 lb. frame from Calexico, CA who attends Calexico HS. Medium frame, strong mature lower half. Primary 3B but grades out/profiles better as catcher. Low flexible set up, throws carry with plus accuracy, calm consistent release, game throws, 1.94 best pop. Actions at 3B were easy and quick as well. Switch-hitter, similar bat speed both sides, bit better extension/more power projection left handed, squares up well. Nice all round skills/tools, especially behind the plate. Good student.
