Jeffrey Kinnear is a 2007 RHP/SS with a 5'11'', 172 lb. frame from New Berlin, WI, who attends Catholic Memorial HS. Has present strength throughout his body, with room to grow. Kinnear is an athletic play with solid sixty speed as well as game speed. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a deceptive delivery. Kinnear hides the ball well making it hard on the hitter, and he gets good extension out front with his pitches. His tailing fastball topped out at 82 mph, while he worked in the 79-81 mph range. Kinnear throws a 10 to 4 curveball with good bite to keep the hitters off-balance, He throws strikes, has pitchability, and gets outs. He also works fast on the mound keeping his defense in the game. At the plate he has a good set-up with a nice swing path and solid bat speed. Kinnear is a line drive hitter that can drive the gaps. He makes consistent contact and is very projectable at the plate. Defensively he showed good footwork and quick first step in the hole, and he played well in the games.
