Grant is a slick fielding shortstop who has shown a steady improvement in his tools and ability. He has a good body that will project nicely well after High School and we have seen major strides in his game over the past year. He showed some of the best shortstop actions in the event, ran a 7.02 in the 60 and threw an easy 76 mph across the infield. In fact, his arm will play at the next level as a shortstop. His bat showed a level and smooth swing plane and he hit every pitcher he faced. His bat-speed is good and will play at the College level with Alumnum. Grant also took the hill showing 80-83 mph velocity on his fastball, a fast arm and showed good usage from his body. His curveball was 65-71 mph with a nice break and his change-up is a very good one at 68-70 mph. He has a lot to offer and appears to be one of the more projectable unsigned position players in the Midwest.
