Sean Coyle crushed a Home Run to Left. Dillon Howard, NIck Kingham, Ryan Stanek,Jason Hursch and Tyler Austin were at least 90 from the mound in the game.

Stetson Allie closed out the final game and showcase a fastball up to 98 and sat in the mid 90's He also mixed in a 89mph slider. Colby Suggs also threw 93 mph in the game.

Kris Bryant and Justin O'Conner needed a tiebreaker to determine the winner of the Rawlings Home Run Challenge. O'Conner, Bryant and Zach Alvord each hit 6 homeruns in the opening round and Bryant and O'Conner matched their first round total by hitting 6 Home runs in the final round forcing a 5 out tie breaker. O'Conner was finally able to separate himself winning the tiebreaker 3-2. Justin O'Conner is your 2009 Rawlings Home Run Challenge Champion.

Earlier in the showcase Justin O'Conner tied Dodger 1st Rounder Ethan Martin throwing 95 mph from across the infield. They were both wiped out of the record book when Keenan Kish threw 96 across the diamond after pitching earlier in the showcase.

Dan Child opened the game showcasing his 94 mph fastball. Tyler Shreve almost matched him throwing 93 mph in his two inning stint. Pierce Trumper was up to 92 mph on the mound and also made hard contact at the plate. Frankie Christian stood out with the bat with two shots for doubles.

Dale Innes, David Armendariz, Kevin Ziomek, Matt Kirkland, Jon Keller, Shane Henderson, and Blake Bagley were all 90 + in the game.

Marcus Littlewood, Cory Hahn, Brian Ragira, and Matthew Kirkland all hit the ball hard.

Daniel Sanchez a Free Agent from Venezuela looked very good with a 93 mph fastball. Yordy Cabrera continues to impress with the bat and his 94 mph fastball on the mound.

Beside Smelter and Stevens every other pitcher was atleast 90 mph in Game 2 of Saturday's action.

DeAndre Smelter showed a 94 mph fastball for the Columbia Blue team. Eric Stevens countered with a 90 mph fastball and a sharp breaking ball. Alex Lavisky put one in the seats for the Columbia Blue Team.

Robert Ray, Griffin Murphy, Paul Paez all looked very good showing pitchability and 91 mph fastballs. Michael Foltynewicz and Myles Smith showed fast arms and 90+ mph fastballs for the Dark Green.

Black and Gold pitchers continued on an impressive day of hurlers.
Luke Jackson from the Royal team opened things up with his 92 mph fastball. Connor Mason and Austin Kubitza both looked good with 91 mph fastballs for the Black team. Clayton Crum once again impressed as he did at the Sunshine South with a fastball up to 92 mph. Chase Butler closed things out for the gold with a 90 mph fastball.

Andrew Smith was lights out as well topping out at 93 and showing pitchability. Kaleb Cowart matched his teammate with a 93 mph fastball in his one inning of work. Beside Taillon the White Team had two more pitchers impress the scouts with 91 mph fastballs in Luke Curtis and Bronson Gillam. Even with the power arms in the game the hitters impressed as well.

Jameson Taillion showed his lights out power stuff and his fastball sat at 93-95 topping out 96. He also showed a hammer 84 mph curveball and a solid change to go with it. Everyone in attendence enjoyed watching him throw except maybe the hitters who had to face him. Oh and maybe PG Vice President Jason Gerst who took an errant warm up fastball from the bullpen in the leg.

Austin Wilson's spot on top the All Time National Records for OF velocity was short lived as Michael Lorenzen showed an incredible OF arm with an easy 99mph gun reading. He then got on the mound and looked good with a 93 mph fastball.

Anthony Wolters impressed both at the plate and in the field for the Steel Team. Once again numerous pitchers were 90+ led by Aaron Sanchez who throw an easy 94 mph. AJ Berglund and Bijan Rademacher were also threw at least 90 mph as well for the Steel Team. Every pitcher threw 90 for the Texas Orange team led by MIchael Lorenzen(93 mph) and Bobby Wahl (92 mph). John Lieske and Nicholas Frey were the other two pitchers throwing 90 for the Texas Orange team.

AJ Cole(Winter Springs, FL) ran it up to 95 in his two inning outing after touching 96 earlier in the week in the PG National Invitational. Kevin Gausman(Centennial, CO) wasn't far behind looking very good and working up to 94 mph. TJ Pecoraro(Dix Hills, NY) also impressed working 90-92. Adam Duke(Salem, UT) 91 mph and Tito Nava(Englewood, CO) 90 mph also pitched in the game.

Reggie Golden(Wetumpka,AL) and Kris Bryant(Las Vegas, NV) both turned around 90+ mph fastball for hard hit singles. Bryant followed it up later in the game with a long HR. Austin Wilson(Los Angeles,CA) threw 98mph from the outfield in the workout and absolutley smoked a ball up the middle that registered at 100 mph off the bat.

O'Conner showed excellent actions in the infield and a cannon for an arm throwing 95 mph across the diamond. He then closed the game working up to 93mph on the mound.

The following players had excellent BP's as both the Navy and Columbia Blue team showed very good power. Joe Costigan(Naples, FL) Yordy Cabrera(Lakeland, FL), Tim Kiene(South Windsor, CT) Justin O'Conner(Muncie, IN), Tyler Austin(Conyers, GA) Austin Southall(Baton Rouge, LA) Matt Kirkland(Knoxville, TN) Austen Smith (Cantonment, FL) and Kaleb Barlow(Florence, MS) all impressed.

Lonnie Kauppila(Burbank,CA)  turned around a 94 mph fastball for a double off the wall. Preston Packrall(Tampa,FL) doubled to the LC Gap and Michael Arencibia(Key West, FL) hit one to the right center gap and absolutely flew around the bases for a triple.

Case Nixon (Tuscaloosa, AL) ran it up to 93 on the mound and also showed a solid breaking ball. Jimmy Hodgskin LHP (Windermere, FL) looked very good with a 90 mph fastball and good offspeed to go with it. Sean O'Connor(Southlake, TX) opened the game by lighting up the guns at 92mph.
