Drew Blake, SS, Milton Academy (MA) - 2014 - Blake has a quiet approach, but produced consistent, loud line drives in his BP round. He's quick to the ball inside and peppered the right side with line drives.
Matthew DiCerbo, 1B/3B/OF, Atlantic City (NJ) - 2014 - DiCerbo worked inside the ball very well in his round, shooting the gap consistently with hard line drives. He has a simple, and very effective approach.
Brian Morrell, SS, Shoreham-Wading River (NY) - 2017 - even as young as he is, Morrell took a strong BP, showing a handsy approach and some life off his bat. He'll be one to watch in the coming years.
Christian Runza, C/OF, N Valley Reg H Old Tappan (NJ) - 2014 - Runza made consistent line drive contact over his round, staying inside the ball well and showing some carry off the bat.
Tristan Rojas, OF, James Monroe (NY) - 2014 - Rojas was one of the overall standouts of the showcase, and put on an impressive Bp display as well. He has a buggy whip swing, hit line drives to all fields, and showed a fluid path through the zone.
Robert Calabrese, C, Poly Prep Country Day (NY) - 2014 - one of the more consistent BP performers, Calabrese, used the whole field and showed impressive pull side power. His strongly built, 6-foot-1, 195 pound frame also projects well.
Matthew Rykaczewski, C, Cherokee (NJ) - 2014 - A live, athletic backstop, he showed good bat speed during his BP session as well as some lift to his pull side.
Andrew Taft, C, Clinton Senior (NY) - 2014 - Taft was one of the strongest players in attendance this weekend and put on a nice BP show. He showed big carry to the opposite field as well as to the pull side. He's 6-foot-4, 240 pounds and getting stronger.
Erik Ostberg, C/OF, The Williston Northampton School (MA) - 2014 - Ostberg has a professional style approach, choosing his pitches carefully and showing a compact, quick stroke. He also flashed some pull side power.
Inoel Nunez, C, Monroe Academy For Businees (NY) - 2014 - Nunez has a stocky, powerful frame and used his lower half well in his BP round. He uses a leg kick and showed consistent opposite field power.
Christian Pimentel, SS, Iona Prep (NY) - 2014 - one of the day's liveliest bats, Pimentel sprayed hard line drives to all parts of the field during his round, and also flashed some pull side power.
John (Jay) Perry, C, St. Mark's (MD) - 2015 - one of the day's strongest hitters, showing big pull side power and loft to the middle of the field. Owner of a large, powerful, 6-foot-2, 210 pound frame and it shows. Outstanding bat speed and the power comes easy.
Peter Papcun, OF, Christian Brothers Academy (NJ) - 2014 - showed impressive bat speed and a projectable 6-foot-2, 175 pound frame. Legitimate pull side power was clear, generates impressive backspin.
Matthew Kurdewan, 3B, Red Bank Catholic (NJ) - 2014 - strong 6-foot-2, 190 pound frame, gets outstanding extension. Multiple shots jumped off his bat deep into the gaps.
Anthony Santora, C/3B/1B, St. John Vianney (NJ) - 2014 - showed a sound, opposite field approach and also showed some power going the other way. Excellent bat speed.
Cullen Dana, 1B, Don Bosco (NJ) - 2015 - strong 6-foot-4 frame with room to grow. Showed big lift to pull side of the field, looks like he's only going to get stronger. Bat speed stood out in a big way
Matthew McKeown, MIF, Paul VI (NJ) - 2015 - deep drives to left-center field, including shot off the fence. Most impressive raw power display of the day.
