Jase Canfield (2025 OF, Dubuque, IA) has a simple approach at the plate that he utilizes effectively.  He stays short to the baseball and has quick hands through the hitting zone that allow him to let the ball travel deep before attacking it with the barrel.

David Gartner (2025 C, Riverdale, IA) features a swing that is full of intent at the plate and looks to do damage to balls left over the middle of the plate.  He gets on plane with the pitch and does a nice job of extending through the ball, which allows him to leverage it into the gaps.

Kendrick Heffernan (2026 3B, Tipton, IA) has a knack for finding the barrel, which he showed throughout the entirety of his round today.  He looks to drive the ball hard back up the middle of the field and does a nice job of staying on balance throughout his swing.

Cooper Hummel (2025 1B, Cascade, IA) is a strong athlete from the left side of the plate and does a nice job of utilizing his lower half throughout his swing.  He showed the ability to let the ball travel before sending it hard the other way, but also looks to do damage to the pull side when given the opportunity.

Lincoln Dalton (2026 RHP, Bettendorf, IA) is a power hitting left-handed hitter that has the ability to impact the ball to the pull side of the field.  He has a big swing with fast, strong hands and makes loud contact when he is synced up and on time with a pitch left over the middle or inside part of the plate.

JP Elbert (2027 C, Dubuque, IA) showed the ability to generate backspin on his line drives today, working back up the middle of the field nicely and staying through the baseball.  He has quick hands and showed a good feel for the barrel.

Konner Altergott (2026 1B, Lake In The Hills, IL) is not afraid to use the entire field at the dish and does a nice job of tracking the baseball through the entire zone.  He has a simple toe tap trigger for timing and showed good hand speed through the zone that lead to nice barrel whip.

Drew Fillenworth (2026 RHP, Norway, IA) showed his strength at the plate today, utilizing a bigger swing and driving the ball into the gaps.  He is an athletic player and allows that to play at the plate, adjusting to hit the ball hard no matter where it is in the zone.

Colton Holmes (2025 C, Gurnee, IL) has a shorter swing at the plate that he pairs with an aggressive approach.  This allows him to keep his weight back to make sure that he gets a pitch he likes and then can get the barrel to explode through it with his fast hands.

Grady Frese (2026 SS, Norway, IA) uses a compact stroke at the plate and stays flat through the zone which allows him to drive the ball into the gaps with back spin.  He is a presently strong athlete that is able to utilize his strength at the plate.

Anderson Schirm (2025 C, Pella, IA) repeats his swing well at the plate which allowed him to have consistent results throughout out his round.  He has fast hands through the zone which generates plenty of bat speed and does a nice job of getting on plane early to ensure hard contact to all parts of the field.

Tatem Telfer (2025 LHP, Hedrick, IA) has an easy swing at the plate and looks to do damage to the pull side of the field.  He pairs his fast hands with the ability to fire his hips well, which allows him to impact the ball out in front of the plate.

Ethan Wolf (2026 SS, Crystal Lake, IL) does a nice job of keeping his hands inside the baseball and in front of the barrel at contact.  This allows him to drive through the baseball with the heavy part of the bat and leverage the ball deep into the gaps.  He has an uphill swing and elevates the ball with ease.

Derrik Beckstrand (2027 1B, Elkhorn, WI) has a relaxed swing at the plate and is fluid through contact.  He does a nice job of being consistently on time and stays through the ball well.  He has a big frame and a potential to be a big time power hitting lefty.
