Ryan Deutsch (2018 OF, Atlanta, GA) had two hits today for the Navy team. Deutsch has a sound approach at the plate with bat speed and hits the ball to all fields.
Krystphr Downey-Simms (2020 OF, Simpsonville, SC) singed twice and tripled for the Navy team this afternoon. Simms has a nice easy approach at the plate with a level swing.
Harrison Spates (2018 RHP, Canton, GA) sat 78-81mph today on his fastball mixing in his slider at 73mph and his changeup at 71mph. Spates has a long loose arm action with good tempo on the mound while doing a good job of mixing speeds to keep hitters off-balance.
Matthew Mamatas (2018 SS, McDonough, GA) had two hits in the game for the Maroon team this afternoon including a triple in his last at bat. Mamatas makes solid barrel contact at the plate with bat speed and drives the ball to all fields.
Pete Weil (2018 RHP, Atlanta, GA) topped out on his fastball at 81mph today mixing in a curveball at 70mph and a slider at 70mph. Weil has a loose clean arm action with an online delivery and he pounds both sides of the strike zone.
