2016 PG Underclass All American Games

East vs. West Highlights

The West team held off the East to win Game One of the PG Underclass All-American Games.  The final score was 6-5. 

Chase Sanguinetti (2018 1B, Tampa, FL) went 2 for 2 with a pair of RBIs. The Florida State commit centers the ball well with good bat speed and an aggressive approach at the plate.

Anthony Seigler (2018 C, Cartersville, GA) added a hit and run scored. The future Auburn Tiger showed great athleticism both on the base path as well as behind the plate.

Makenzie Stills (2018 RHP, Fayetteville, GA) started the game for the East Team and sat 87-90 with a 82 mph change-up. He threw 2 innings, giving up 5 hits, 2 earned runs, and stuck out 1 batter. Stills is committed to Vanderbilt. 

Jack Leiter (2019 RHP, Summit, NJ) came into game in relief for the East Team and sat 83-86 over his 3 innings.

Brandon Dieter (2018 SS, Covina, CA) led off for the West Team and went 2 for 2 with an RBI and run scored.  The Stanford commit showed an aggressive swing with good plate discipline in both at-bats.

Spencer Jones (2019 OF, Encinitas, CA) also went 2 for 2 for the West including a 1st inning single off future college teammate Stills.  He also closed the game for the West topping out at 85 mph. 

Ian Villers (2018 1B, Walnut Creek, CA) joined his two teammates above going 2 for 2 in the game with a double and two runs scored.  The double showed off the pop in this University of California commit's bat. 

Austin Kretzschmar (2018 SS, La Mesa, CA) took advantage of his at-bat in the game with a big RBI double down the line. 

Carson Lambert (2018 RHP, Thousand Oaks, CA) started on the mound for the West team with two solid innings of 4 hit baseball.  He struck out 4 while only giving up 1 earned run. The USC commit sat 85-86 with an 80 mph change-up and 74 mph curveball.

Alberto Gonzalez (2018 RHP, Laredo, TX) came in the game  to hold the lead for the West Team and sat 84-87, topping out at 89 mph once.
