2015 South Uncommitted Showcase

South Uncommitted BP Highlights
11/7/2015 2:44:26 PM

Cade Bullinger (2016 OF, Boerne, TX) has a build that looks stronger than his listed 6-4/180.  The right handed hitter showed very impressive power during his round, launching one home run a good 30-40 feet over the left centerfield fence into the wind and making a number of other hard contacts.

Cole Coker (2016 2B, Huffman, TX) is a 6-1/190 left handed hitting middle infielder with good bat speed and a nice smooth swing.  He swings hard and made consistent hard line drive contact.

Kidany Salva (2016 C, Houston, TX) just moved to Houston from Puerto Rico earlier this year.  He's a quick twitch athlete with good core strength, which he uses to create nice bat speed from both sides of the plate.

Branson Audette (2016 C, Katy, TX) is a left handed hitting catcher with a strong 6-3/205 build.  He has lots of bat speed and strength at contact and puts the ball in the air with lots of carry.  It's a simple and repeatable approach that will serve him well in college.

Noel Solis (2016 3B, Brownsville, TX) is a strong right handed hitter with a nice load and shift into contact and plenty of present bat speed.  He made plenty of loud mid field line drive contact.

Myles Smits (2015 C, Olathe, KS) swing stood out for its simplicity and repeatability.  He had a nice round with consistent hard line drive contact between the gaps.

Michael Oyervides (2016 C, Pearland, TX) is yet another catcher that stood out in this BP.  He starts from a narrow base with a big stride into contact that may create game timing issues but showed lots of bat speed and power when he was timed up.

Brandon Symmank (2016 SS, Houston, TX) needs to add strength to his 6-0/145 frame but he has good hitting mechanics with a loose swing.  He's aggressive and creates bat speed while squaring up the ball consistently.
