Chase Marini (2016 SS, Savannah, GA) topped out at 84mph with his fastball this afternoon. The ball comes out of his hand well showing good command of his fastball and he was aggressive with it.
Jack Denneny (2016 1B, Fairfax, VA) had 2 hits in the game for the Gold team. Denneny has a power approach at the plate with a good swing and showed good pitch recognition.
AJ Knight (2017 3B, Kannapolis, NC) also had a multi-hit game for the Gold team. Knight makes hard contact at the plate with a line drive swing plane. Knight also showed smooth actions at short with an accurate arm.
