John Dancy (2017 RHP, Charlotte, NC) sat 82-85 on his fastball today to go along with his slider at 75mph and his changeup at 75mph. Dancy has a good arm action with a good fastball that he throws for strikes and his slider gets swings and misses.
Noah Cole (2016 RHP, Marietta, GA) had a couple of hits in the game for the Steel team today. Cole has level swing with bat speed.
Matthew Cox (2016 C, Houston, TX) had a good day at the plate today collecting 2 hits with a double. Cox makes good hard contact at the plate with a line drive swing plane.
Michael Young (2017 1B, Peachtree City, GA) had a double and a single in the game today. Young makes solid contact at the plate with power potential.
Blaine Smith (2017 SS, Bessemer, AL) had 3 hits in the game for the Steel team including a double. Smith has a sound approach at the plate with good bat speed and hits the ball to all fields.
David Russo (2017 SS, Sarasota, FL) had a couple of hits in the game for the Royal team. Russo makes solid contact at the plate with bat speed and squares the ball up consistently.
Alec Cargin (2016 C, Lawrenceville, GA) had a multi-hit game for the Royal team including a double. Cargin showed good plate discipline with lift in his swing.
Tate Hagan (2016 OF, Tallahassee, FL) had a multi-hit game as well for the Royal team including a triple. Hagan has an aggressive approach at the plate with a line drive swing plane and drives the ball to the gaps.
