The Texas Longhorns finished last in the Big 12 Conference in 2013, and also missed the NCAA postseason for the second-straight season. Though things could change, the Longhorns are putting together one of the more impressive turnarounds in college baseball this spring, and are one of the big movers in the latest Perfect Game College Top 25.

The Longhorns didn't begin Big 12 play well, dropping a home series to Kansas a few weeks ago. However, the 'Horns have found impressive ways to win games the past two weekends against Texas Tech and Baylor. As a result, they moved from No. 12 to No. 8 in our latest rankings. Meanwhile, red-hot Washington also was a big mover, climbing from No. 18 to No. 12 after a thrilling home series win over Oregon, which dropped from No. 11 to No. 16.

Florida State remains atop the rankings after sweeping Notre Dame at home over the weekend, while the rest of the top five includes Virginia, Louisiana-Lafayette, Cal Poly and South Carolina, in order. The Gamecocks dropped two spots from No. 3 to No. 5 after losing a road series to Arkansas, while ULL, which moved up to No. 3, leads the nation in wins with an amazing 30-3 overall record fresh off a road series win over Troy.

Elsewhere in the rankings, LSU moved up there spots from No. 14 to No. 11 after sweeping a home series against Mississippi State, while Tennessee improves from No. 25 to No. 21 after winning a crucial SEC home series against rival Vanderbilt. The biggest drop this week comes from Rice, which fell from No. 13 to No. 22 after losing a tough home series to East Carolina.

UCLA and Florida dropped out of this week's rankings, while Arkansas makes its season debut, and Indiana returns after a few weeks hiatus. The Hogs captured an important home series win over South Carolina with excellent starting pitching leading the way, while the Hoosiers improved to 8-1 in the Big Ten over the weekend with a road series sweep over Iowa.
