Pitcher/Catcher Indoor Top Prospect

The notes from this past weekend’s Pitcher/Catcher Indoor Showcase in Cedar Rapids still haven’t been completely organized, so reports and PG Grades haven’t been written and assigned yet. But here is one person’s impression of the event’s top prospects over the course of two days.

Unlike many Perfect Game events, this showcase featured players all the way from freshman in high school to experienced college performers. They’ve all been put together for this list but will be broken down according to class for the official list that will come out after the reports are written.

The event was noteworthy for the impressive number of four year college prospects in attendance. Although local pro scouts are saying that this is a below average year in the Upper Midwest for potential draft picks, that is certainly not the case when it comes to the quantity and quality of present college (and hopefully future pro level) talent.
