Class of 2008

LHP Brett DeVall (Panama City, FL): DeVall threw 92 mph, his slider was the best breaking ball at the showcase and his change up was almost as good. He’s very athletic at 6-4, 205 and everything comes together so easily when he throws. DeVall might be the top 2008 pitcher in the country.

RHP Daniel Marrs (Midlothian, VA): Marrs didn’t throw any breaking balls in what amounted to an off-season workout, but he did throw 93-94 mph frequently and his split finger continues to improve with more consistent mechanics.
