Shane Cowan is a 2022 C with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Fall River, NS. Large frame with some strength and remaining room to fill out. Ran a 7.87 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up wide and receives it strongly out front, works with momentum through the ball and gets tall at release, shows developing arm strength but maintained a good line on his throws. Left-handed hitter, sets up open and loads deep; fires the lower half hard into his swing but struggles to engage it at times, works to lift through the zone and will produce more carry on his lofted contact as he adds strength and engages the lower half more.
