David DiNatale is a 2005 outfielder from Parkland, Florida, with an athletic and strong frame at 6'1", 195 lbs. DiNatale was one of the best all around players at the World Showcase. He ran a 6.7 - 60. He showed pro level arm strength (91 mph) from the OF with a quick and easy arm. His throws were on line with great carry and accuracy. DiNatale has an advanced approach at the plate with a sweet swing from the right side. He gets great leverage and hits every ball with authority. DiNatale has a quick bat with pro power projection. He pressed slightly during the games, but showed that he is one of the best players in the country. DiNatale has a very high ceiling. He is a good student who has signed with Central Florida.

David DiNatale is a well built 6'1/195 athletic outfielder from Parkland, FL. DiNatale showed his usual collection of big league tools, including an above average MLB throwing arm and very good bat speed. He has big time power potential and he runs better than MLB average while being a very good def. outfielder. The bat plays large and if he can show it off a bit before the June draft, he could go very early. It looked as if he was playing more relaxed, which is a plus for a high caliber player. He is an excellent student. David was selected to the AFLAC All American Team.

We’ve seen DiNatale at four different events since the start of October and the World Showcase was one of his strongest performances. He’s in great shape right now and is looking very strong and confident. DiNatale hits out of a slightly open stance with an aggressive approach and well above average MLB bat speed. He has a nice level swing plane and stays on the ball for a long time. Another impressive thing was that not only did DiNatale pull the ball with authority, he also launched a towering triple over the right fielder’s head during one game. DiNatale showed his customary outstanding arm strength, throwing 90 mph from right field with a long, loose arm stroke. He ran well, 6.96, in the 60, but he has run better times. David is a very good student who will be recruited by most of the top power programs. He's one of the top outfield prospects in his "05" class.

David DiNatale -- DiNatale is a very strong, physically solid junior outfielder from Florida that we’ve seen play repeatedly over the past year. He’s spent plenty of time working hard on his strength and it shows in his game. DiNatale hits out of a wide, balanced stance and generates excellent bat speed from very good lower body torque. The ball explodes off his bat on solid contact. DiNatale is a very aggressive hitter who is attacking every pitch and looking to pull it hard. A little more selectiveness at the plate might make him a better hitter, especially when pitchers start spotting the ball better. DiNatale is one of the better defensive high school outfielders around. He has a cannon for an arm, throwing 89 mph during the workouts, and runs very well. DiNatale is a very good student who is going to get plenty of attention from the top baseball schools and the professional scouts. David is also a top prospect in the class room.

DiNatale is a "05" OF from Florida with some serious tools. At 6'1/180 he is strong and uses his strength very well. He did not run the 60 in CR because of a ham string problem. He is a plus runner though as witnessed on some extra base hits during the games. He has a plus MLB arm from the outfield. Good carry and accurate registering 90 mph on the gun. He has very good outfield actions and does everything well defensively. Even with plus running, fielding and throwing tools, the bat might be his best tool. He can really swing it, probably the best bat speed at this event. He attacks under control with a nice swing and shows power potential to all fields with wood. David has 5 very interesting tools and he's an excellent student. Definitely one of the top "05s" in the country. Big time prospect that needs to be followed by all 30 MLB clubs. Can play at any college in America.

Keep your eyes on this "05". He reminds us of a younger version of top "03" Chris Lubanski. Not as fast, but still going to be a plus runner. He has a better arm. Same type athletic body. Pretty swing, under control, with some natural loft and extension. He's going to hit with power! Possible top "05". Seems to have that Lubanski championship type makeup!
