Thomas Hunt is a 2021 RHP/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Bancroft, WI who attends Almond-Bancroft. Strong athletic build. Compact arm action on the mound, gets into his strong lower half well to generate drive to the plate, gets some downhill angle on his pitches from a 3/4's arm slot, has the athleticism to vary his delivery to throw off hitters timing. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, has been up to 88 mph at previous PG events this fall, works his fastball to both sides of the plate effectively and gets good running action arm side. Slider has some tightness and good tilt and bite, will mix in an occasional firm change up. Has an idea how to pitch and was very effective. 7.55 runner, showed his arm strength well in the infield and makes accurate throws. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a big hanging from leg load, flashes some pull strength and carry when his timing works. Good student, verbal commitment to Bryant and Stratton. Named to the Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
