Christopher Roman is a 2007 RHP/OF with a 6'3'', 170 lb. frame from Kissimmee FL, who attends Poinciana. Roman has a tall body with a lean slender build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot and has a quick arm action. He has good arm speed and his arm works well. Roman is mechanically sound and throws across his body some. He is aggressive in the strike zone with both pitches and comes right after hitters. His fastball has late armside life and really explodes at the plate. His breaking ball is his best pitch with good spin and depth. He pitched at this event the day after he pitched 7 innings for his HS team. At the plate, he stays balanced throughout and has a smooth stroke. Roman uses a line drive swing path and makes solid contact. Roman has good power potential at the plate as well. Defensively, Roman moves to the ball well in the outfield and throws from an over the top arm slot. He made online throws with carry. Roman is a good student.

Christopher Roman is a 2007 outfielder/right handed pitcher from Kissimmee, FL with a tall lean frame at 6-3, 155 lbs. Defensively, he shows good arm strength at 79 mph from the outfield with good accuracy. He hits from a balanced stance. He gets his hands extended with a long swing plane and a high finish. He has a contact style approach and he uses the whole field. He pitches from a 3/4 slot with a long loose arm action. His fastball topped at 80 mph in Ft Myers with sink and run. We’ve had reports of him throwing harder. His curveball shows a tight rotation with good depth at 69 mph. His slider has a nice deep break to it at 73 mph. He is very composed on the mound and he knows how to pitch. He is a very interesting prospect to follow closely with a projectable frame and solid pitching tools. Christopher is a good student.
