Kevin Gottlieb is a 2008 LHP/1B that attends Palm Beach Gardens HS and resides in Palm Beach Gardens, FL with a 6'0", 180 lb. frame. Kevin has an well-developed athletic build and plays for one of the top high school teams in the country. At the plate Kevin has a balanced approach with strong hands. He loads his hands well and has good leverage with good power upside. Kevin can get a little long with his swing and will need to work on shortening up some. In the field Kevin has good hands with a solid arm at first base. His upside at first base is very good. On the mound Kevin throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good run on the ball. Kevin has good balance in his delivery and does a good job of making hitters put the ball in the ground. He will need to make sure he finishes his curveball. Kevin has good potential at first base and should attract the attention of many mid-level college programs.
