He has a strong, physical build, used a Hi 3/4 arm angle, long, loose arm action, rhythm in delivery, fastball has good life, has feel for change, throws solid split, is a definite 2009 arm to follow. He also took aggressing swings at the plate with easy pull power. He is a good student.

Drew Bradshaw is a 2009 LHP/1B/OF with a 6'1'', 200 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends Monte Vista HS. He has a strong build and a physical, athletic body. Bradshaw is a good young player who plays with passion and energy. It might be a bit too early to say if he will pitch or play a position in college because he shows good ability both ways right now. On the mound he has a long, strong arm that works from a high 3/4 slot and has good arm speed. In this event his fastball was 84-86 mph but we saw him touch 89 mph in June '07 so we know more is there. He gets some late sink on his fastball and hitters had a tough time squaring up any of his fastballs. Bradshaw did not show a curveball but did show a nice changeup (72) that he used quite a bit. He stays after hitters and does not give in. Bradshaw is quite athletic for a big, strong young player. He swings the bat with authority too, with present day opposite field power. The ball comes off his bat well. For some college programs he could be a two-way prospect.

Drew Bradshaw is a 2009 LHP/1B/OF with a 6'1'', 210 lb. frame from Danville CA, who attends Monte Vista HS. Selected as a Top Prospect at this event. He has a strong, broad, durable and potentially powerful body type, though he is nearing physical maturity. Bradshaw is a potential two-way player for some programs. On the mound he pitches from a hi 3/4 slot with a clean arm stroke. His arm is strong and works pretty easily. He has good body control and can repeat his delivery. Bradshaw's fastball topped at 84 and has good run and at times was heavy. His change-up moves well and he flashed a baby slider that may have been a cutter. He should continue to gain velocity if his body stays in check. At the plate Bradshaw showed strength and the ability to spray that ball to all fields. He throws his hands well and is an aggressive hitter that should be followed. There is some power in his future.
