Jacob Hardin is a 2020 3B/2B, SS, MIF, IF, UT with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Campo Verde. Medium frame with an athletic build. Primary third baseman with smooth paced footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels from a deeper position and worked through exchange with fluidity. Flashed some range to each side and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced on line, accurate carry to the bag topping at 75 mph. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Stays on back side and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Flashed bat speed with strength through the zone when on time and created loud jump to the gaps when squared. Very good student as well.
