Charles Wick is a 2020 1B/3B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Oro Valley, AZ who attends Ironwood Ridge. Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Primary first baseman with clean, athletic footwork while working off the bag and surrounding the baseball. Flashed soft hands while funneling and worked through exchange well. Released from a three-quarters slot generating accurate carry to the bag at 78 mph. Right handed hitter with an open stance and leg lift trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Showed developing feel throughout the zone with the barrel while employing a mid field to pull side approach.
