Carter Claybar is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Orange, TX who attends Little Cypress-Mauriceville HS. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out. Right handed hitter, exaggerated closed upper body, swings hard and creates some bat speed, mid field line drive contact, handled the barrel well and showed hitting tools, should continue to improve with additional strength and adjustments. 8.19 runner, arm strength still developing in the outfield with young throwing mechanics. Also pitched, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, tall and on line to the plate. Fastball topped out at 67 mph, pronates over the top of it for an occasional screwball effect.
