Mylen Hayhurst is a 2019 RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Aledo, TX who attends Aledo HS. Medium build, plenty of room to get stronger. Simple delivery mechanics with a short takeaway in back and good extension out front, repeats his delivery well and pitches in control. Steady mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, stays out of the middle of the plate with his fastball and spots the ball to the corners. Soft curveball thrown for strikes. Efficient pitcher who makes hitters swing the bats. 7.46 runner, has good actions in the outfield with well schooled fundamentals and execution. Right handed hitter, straight stance with a simple and direct swing and consistent line drive contact. Polished player who will improve as he gets stronger.
