Jimmy Howick is a 2008 MIF/3B that attends Bishop Kenny HS and resides in St. Augustine, FL with a 5'11", 165 lb. frame. Jimmy has a lean athletic build and showed very good raw infield tools. At the plate Jimmy sprays line-drives all over the field. He shows good bat speed and is able to keep his hands inside the ball well. Jimmy should have no problem hitting at the next level. In the field Jimmy has very good actions. He showed nice footwork with great hands and really threw the ball easily across the field. Jimmy has great feel for the game in the field and looked to do almost everything well. He is a very strong student that should attract the attention of many Division I schools.

Kenny has good defensive actions with quick hands from the shortstop position. He has active feet and showed good footwork. Kenny has solid arm strength for a real young player. At the plate Kenny starts with a straight stance and flexed knees. He pre loads to the back side and has a quiet approach. Kenny has a line drive swing path and stays behind the ball well. Kenny has a short quick bat path and is a solid contact hitter. Kenny showed hand strength and bat speed. Kenny is a good young follow and is also an excellent student.
