Logan Deskin is a 2020 RHP/ with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Anthem, AZ who attends Boulder Creek. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.28 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, deliberate pace to delivery, collapses early onto backside and creates drop and drive look, closed landing with extreme crossfire to delivery, creates angle to the plate from extended three quarters slot, fastball worked 75-79 mph with solid arm side life. Showed curveball with solid depth, did a good job landing it for strikes. Very good at pitching to contact and getting quick outs. Shows good hands through swing when hitting, relaxed tempo with rhythm, solid barrel skills up the middle and to pull side with developing strength. Footwork is solid in the infield, deep funnel between feet, lower slot release up to 75 mph. Also took outfield reps, comes in on ball well and fields cleanly, lower elbow throws up to 78 mph. Very good student.
