Joseph O'Bryant Jr. is a 2018 RHP/SS with a 6-0 125 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Spring HS. Recorded a 7.32 60-yard dash. Skinny and athletic frame with a ton of room to add strength as he fills out. Primary pitcher with a long arm action through the back. Threw from a high three-quarter arm slot and showed good confidence in the curveball. The pitch had 12/6 shape and he could throw it for strikes and for swings and misses. Went to the pitch very often and worked his fastball off of the curveball. Attacked hitters with strikes. Moves well in the field with a clean glove and solid fundamental skills. Feet are quick and arm strength is developing. Slightly open stance at the plate with a simple swing and handles the barrel well. Good student.
